Juno is 3 months old today!
She's gotten to that really fun stage where she smiles, coos, giggles, and interacts with us all day long. She is such a happy girl. Luckily, month three has been so much easier than month two was. She's outgrown her reflux and she is so much happier in the hip abduction brace than she was in the Pavlik harness. Seriously, as soon as we switched, she became a completely different baby! She smiles from the time she wakes up until she goes to sleep at night. She also loves having little "conversations" with me and especially with her two big sisters.
Juno can get her little fists in her mouth now and so she's happy even when she spits her paci out. The only time she ever really cries is in the car--for some reason, she hates driving!
I give her tummy time for about 15 minutes every morning when I take off her brace to get her dressed. She can prop herself up on her elbows and she even rolled over earlier this week! It was an accident and it took her completely by surprise. It was really cute how shocked she was.
Juno's catnapping habit has really improved this month! It makes me feel so much better to have a bit of a routine every day. I can usually get her to nap for 45 minutes in her crib in the morning, then for her midday nap she sleeps for 2 hours in her swing, and then takes another 30-45 minute nap in the late afternoon. She goes to bed around 6 pm, sleeps til 10 when I wake her up to nurse before I go to sleep, and then wakes up again at 2 and 6. I keep her in her crib until her early morning feeding and then she stays in bed with me. It's amazing how after 3 kids I need so much less sleep--5 hours is plenty for me now!
We are so grateful for our sweet little Juno. She makes us all smile!
So cute! I am glad Juno is so happy! The picture of all three girls is adorable!
