I know I posted pictures of our house on our old blog, but a lot of the pictures I posted were before the rooms were "finished", so here are more. I have to say how much I love my house. I love it! The very first time I saw it was online on a Wednesday night in October. It was actually just a few hours after our realtor told us our first offer on a different house had been rejected. I was a little bummed until I started looking for something else online and stumbled across this gem:
It was love at first sight. The next day, I called my realtor and begged her to get me an appointment ASAP, and we went to see it on Friday night. We couldn't believe how gorgeous the house was inside. It was a few more weeks before we made an offer, and several months after that before we heard back, and another few weeks after that before we closed and moved in, but it was so worth it! It's been about 4 months since we moved in, but I still look around every day and think how lucky I am to live in my dream house!
So, in honor of my love for my house, here are some pictures of my favorite room: the family room.
This room sold us the house. The exposed brick wall, the gorgeous hardwood floor, the recessed lighting and the olive green walls all just came together perfectly and made us feel at home right away. We haven't done anything but decorate in this room, and I think it turned out very nice :)
