As parents, we all want things for our children. We want them to be happy, successful, kind, considerate of others, and thoughtful. We dream of our children having a bright future. My dream for my children is for them to gain a sincere desire to learn. I want them to go to college, but not as a means to an end--because they have developed a thirst for knowledge. I chose to finish my education, even though I don't "use" my degree in a traditional sense, because I knew that everything I learn gives me experience and helps me to become a better mother and example. I hope that my girls will see me continuing to learn and grow and be inspired to learn for themselves.
