What Makes Organic Skin Care Products Different from the Rest

In the world of health and beauty products, there are definitely different types of styles that many women and men are attracted to. For example, some people are more drawn to higher priced products that have exotic ingredients and high fashion name brands. Other people like hygiene products that are new and innovational that others may not have heard of before.  Many more men and women are particularly drawn to organic skin care products. The major benefits to these products are that they are cosmedogenic, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly.

Better for Your Skin

Organic health and beauty products are much safer to use on a daily basis for skin and hair because they contain ingredients that are free from additives and harsh chemicals. Both of these have the tendency to throw off the skin’s natural balance and can even cause allergic reactions or skin breakouts. Everyone has a different careful balance of hormones and when a new chemical or product is introduced, there may be negatives reactions. There are also many chemicals in regular skin care products that can clog the small pores of the skin. When a product is free of those chemicals and additives and does not block the pores, it is called cosmedogenic. Clogging the pores of the face is what leads to acne breakouts and other skin blemishes.

Helping the Planet

Another great aspect of organic skin care products is that they are much better for the environment. Due to the fact that they are lacking unnatural ingredients and byproducts, there is very little impact on the ecology of the planet. Organic health and beauty companies are also in a unique position that they have no need or desire to test their products on any animals. There is no question as to how natural herbs and ingredients will react to the human body. Years of history and personal experience are enough. As opposed to other companies that may not know how a particular addictive will react; they may have the opinion that testing on an animal is the best way to see if it is safe for humans.
