{Inspired}

Last week I got an email from a reader with such an inspiring story. Heather shared her story with me in hopes that my blog could help her reach out to others that might be in her situation. If you or someone you know has Mesothelioma, please follow her inspiring story!

Hi! I’m Heather. I am a mesothelioma cancer survivor (one of the 2%). I guest blog on the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance Blog. When my daughter Lily was just 3 ½ months old, I was diagnosed with mesothelioma. As any mother would, I knew I needed to fight to be part of the 2% of people who survive this disease. I did everything it took, including having the most extensive treatments, and even having to miss the 6th month of Lily’s life while I was in Boston for surgery. The reason I blog about my experience is to help other moms who may be going through a similar situation to my own. I want my blog to serve as a means of inspiration and hope to those who need it. In this way, I hope to help as many people as possible! I hope that if you ever need some inspiration, you will check out my blog!

I received an email from you I think. But the sender was a no reply blogger. Just wanted to check and make sure it was legit. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
Thanks!

That was an inspiring story. Thanks for sharing. One year ago a man I worked with passed away from Mesothelioma. I'm glad to see some people can beat this terrible illness.
