helpful kids

My kids are so helpful.
All day long, they follow me around the house, helping with whatever I'm doing.
They both love to sweep. So much, in fact, that we have to have two matching pink brooms so they can both sweep at the same time.
They both love to set the table. Tempe does the knives (don't worry, they're just butter knives) and Helena does the forks.
They both love to help me dust. I give them each a dust rag and they each do a side of the bookshelf.
They both love to help me clean up the toys. Yesterday I was unloading the dishwasher and I asked Tempe and Helena to clean up all the legos in the living room so I could vacuum.
So they did.

They both also love to help with home decor projects.
Like painting the bathroom walls with a makeup brush dipped in a little pot of lip gloss.
Thanks, girls!

I love it! This is exactly the type of thing my two girls would do....after they would tell me "Mommy I can't" ten times, and I would tell them...of course you can, just pick them up and put them in the basket...which could also mean couch cushion...but who's paying attention right? Love your posts :)

That is exactly how Katelyn cleans her room.

So I guess she must get it from the Anderson side of the family!
