tomorrow is the big day

So I love being pregnant. I really do.
And I am still astounded to think that this is my third pregnancy. That seems so adult!
I guess it's because Jason was still in law school when Tempe and Helena were born. We were still renters, still living in a far-off land, still had a student mindset. Now I have no more excuses. I've been married 5 years, we own a house, Jason has a job (to pay off our student loans), and we are having our third child.
Wow.
I've really been surprised at how different this third pregnancy is. I haven't been any sicker or anything than I was with my first two (I never get very sick), but man! Some of the things that I experienced late in pregnancy before have already started at just 15 weeks!
The biggest thing is my joint pain. I didn't notice it at all with Tempe, but with Helena I had horrible issues with my hips around 20 weeks. It felt like my hips were going to pop right out and I was carrying Helena very low. It was very uncomfortable. In fact, I was afraid she would fall out at times.
Well, this baby is not big enough to feel like it's going to fall out yet, but I'm already having the majorly loose hips. It is starting to get a little painful--standing up, lifting things, and walking up stairs is hard! Any tips? Can I do stretches or something?
ps we find out what we are having TOMORROW

For a second, I thought you meant you were HAVING the baby tomorrow! I almost freaked out thinking I'd been out of the loop for too long (so thanks for the clarification at the bottom) :D

My second pregnancy was like that - Just be sure to GENTLY stretch your hips and your hip flexors. I went to PT for a while for my hips because they hurt so badly while preggers, and they would have me rest my arm on a wall (bent at the elbow) and tilt my hips so they went TOWARD the wall, hold it for a second, and then back to straight. Also, talk to your dr too! Good luck!

i just started experiencing that a few weeks ago. i bet it's because the more pregnancies you have, the more ready your body is for labor... so it starts getting ready early. at least, that sounds like what i've read.

can't wait to hear what you're having! announce it asap!

okay i know you don't know me but this is EXACTLY how I'm feeling. we had our first two kids while we were still in school. now we've been married for 6 years, have our first house and a real job. it really is feeling much more adult. oh and I'm so with you on the discomforts so much earlier this time.
