{neighborhood stars}

We've lived in our house for nearly four years now and we absolutely love it!
We have the best neighborhood--and the best next door neighbors!
Paulette and Kerry are so generous, thoughtful, helpful, understanding of a young family with kids (and how sometimes the yard can get messy), and always willing to lend sugar or flour. They are raising their grandkids and they genuinely love having a house and yard full of kids. We are so grateful to have them living next door! They are real {stars} in our neighborhood.

Are you looking for a way to help the people of Haiti, especially in light of Hurricane Sandy?
Purchasing items from Macy's Heart of Haiti collection is an easy way to do so!
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, but despite their hardships, the people there are filled with hope and a love for life. The Heart of Haiti campaign from Macy's provides opportunities for Haitian artisans to work with US designers and make their products available in a US market. "Trade not aid" provides sustainable work and much needed financial support for local artisans. The collection includes items made almost entirely from recycled items such as cement bags, old oil drums, local wood, and cardboard. So far, this program has helped over 6,200 individuals! Isn't that great?
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own. #CleverHaiti
