Juno has had a rough week. Last week, completely out of the blue, she started screaming through nursing sessions and went from napping 1 1/2-2 hours in her crib and sleeping 4-5 hours at night to catnapping throughout the day and only sleeping in my arms at night.
(It was a rough week for me, too)
I kept hoping she was just having a bad day, but I finally took her to the doctor yesterday (a new one). After listening to her symptoms, the doctor said she was fairly sure Juno has reflux.
I was so relieved!!! Reflux is so easy to treat. We tilted her crib mattress up on one end and started her on some meds and the difference today was astounding. She was happy all day long and barely cried at all, she had no problems nursing, and she napped in her crib again! Yay! Happy baby = happy mama
And I finally got some pictures of her smiling.
She just discovered her tongue.
And one of her fat little cheeks, just for fun. Yesterday at the doc she weighed 9 lb 1 oz!!! That was including her Pavlik harness, so it might be a little high, but man, I was impressed. Three pounds in seven weeks?? Neither of my other babies gained anywhere near that much that quickly.

She is getting cuter every day. She has changed so much in the couple of weeks since I've seen her. Just want to squeeze those chubby cheeks! What an adorable smile!
